Link has been selected as an index component of the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index (DJSI Asia Pacific), a world-wide recognition on our sustainability efforts since 2013. We are also the first and only Hong Kong-listed REIT included in the DJSI Asia Pacific.
The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices follow a best-in-class approach, including companies across all industries that outperform their peers in numerous sustainability metrics, including corporate governance, economic, environmental and social criteria. The addition of Link in DJSI Asia Pacific serves as an excellent acknowledgment of our sustainability leadership in the industry.
Link has been included in the highly regarded FTSE4Good Index Series for the tenth consecutive year, a first for Hong Kong-listed REITs. Link is also the first Hong Kong-based business enterprise to be included in the FTSE4Good Index since 2013, confirming Link’s compliance with internationally recognised social responsibility standards.
The FTSE4Good Index Series is an index designed for objectively measuring the performance of companies that meet globally recognised corporate responsibility standards. It is also a valuable tool for the investment community when assessing or creating responsible investment products.
Link is one of the listed retail property companies in East Asia being included in GRESB. Link has retained the “Green Star” for the tenth consecutive year since 2013, and the highest A ranking in Public Disclosure for two consecutive years since 2020. GRESB is an industry-driven organisation committed to assessing the sustainability performance of real estate portfolios around the globe.
Link REIT is a constituent of Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series since 2015. The Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index (HSSUS) is a local index that helps us better understand our sustainability performance relative to other Hong Kong and Mainland China companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. In 2021/2022, Link has achieved an "AA-" grading.
Link received a MSCI ESG rating of A in 2021/2022.
In 2021/2022, Link has achieved an ESG Evaluation score of 73/100, which is on par with global best practice.
Link is classified as "Low Risk" in Sustainalytics’ ESG Risk Ratings in 2021/2022, indicating that we have low risk of experiencing material financial impact due to ESG factors.
