60% of our Hong Kong properties situate in the New Territories, while those in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island account for 30% and 10% respectively. Our broad geographical coverage encompasses properties across the territory, which stand in densely populated areas around housing estates and above MTR stations. Such strategic locations help attract foot traffic to our retail facilities and make them hubs of community life.
To diversify our asset base geographically, we are prudently extending our reach to first-tier cities in Mainland China, where we have acquired EC Mall, a mass market shopping centre in Zhongguancun of Beijing’s Haidian District, and Corporate Avenue 1 & 2, a premium grade A office property with retail facilities that is an integral part of the world-renowned Xintiandi development area in Shanghai's Huaihai Middle Road Central Business District.
