The Link First Generation University Student Scholarship (Link Scholarship) programme was established in 2015 as a part of the Link Together Initiatives. It serves to support undergraduates who are the first university students among three generations of their families. Over the past two years, Link has donated HK$4.6 million to support 230 freshmen.

Starting from 2017, Link is expanding this programme by offering 40 scholarships to students who have already received the First Generation University Student Scholarship grant and wish to continue their Year 2 and 3 studies.

Scholarships for the Year 1 University studies are available to Secondary Six students. The scholarships will be applied through nomination by the secondary school at which the candidates are studying druing 15 March to 31 May 2017. Students who plan to continue their University Year 2 and 3 studies may apply directly through online application between 1 May and 14 July 2017.
