​Connecting to Lei Tung MTR station along the South Island Line (to be in service in late 2016 or early 2017), Lei Tung Commercial Centre is a medium-sized, non-air-conditioned shopping centre with strong potential.
 
The asset enhancement project aims to improve the shopping centre’s vertical circulation.  By repartitioning the retail floor and enhancing facilities and trademix, it will also broaden retail choices and strengthen the hillside centre’s role in serving the neighborhood nearby.
 
Work scope to be completed in 2016:
Repartition of vacant 4/F and 5/F to accommodate a new Chinese restaurant and a new supermarket respectively.
Addition of 3 new escalators to improve vertical circulation and accessibility to 4/F and 5/F
Construction of one new staircase and upgrade of the existing ones
Repartition of prime retail space on 1/F into  a new F&B outlet with small shops, and minor repartition of retail space on 2/F and 3/F
Renovation of air-conditioned washrooms, enhancement of Barrier Free Access facilities and minor touch up to the overall ambiance of the entrances.
